We recorded a soundtrack for a short film!
We recently worked on the soundtrack for an upcoming short film. The name of the song is 'SPRAWL II' and the kids will film the scene in September! Thanks to Ian Nikkus for the beautiful guitar accompaniment!!

Fresh from the studio and before we celebrated with all the ice cream we could eat!!! Here are the kids from The West Los Angeles Children's Choir listening to playback of the chorus they sang for the rock group QUOR's new track!! 'We are the Fallen, We are the Lost'. Rock on!!!!!
Carol of the Bells
Absolutely spontaneous treasure from tonight. We were getting ready to perform and needed to walk from the green room to the outside stage. The acoustics in the hallway were perfect: I said 'Start singing 'Carol of the Bells' and .....WOWOWOW!!!

Members of the West Los Angeles Children's Choir were used in an internet commercial to introduce MICROSOFT offers for school fundraisers!
Our Patriotic Song is getting national attention!
Barbara Silberg set the music to Emma Lazarus' profound inscription on the Statue of Liberty ("Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor") and the song has since been featured on the National Institute of Health's Patriotic Song Website. Now, thanks to the creativity of David Tobocman, we have a video to go with the song. The song can be purchased here.
Wyatt is the New Voice of Baby Ha Ha!!
Congratulations to Wyatt Allen for winning the audition to become the voice of "Baby Ha Ha" - a brand new video game from Hong Kong. To listen to Wyatt sing the jingle, please click here.
Wyatt, Grace (seated with Ted Kryczko from Niagara Records, Inc.) and friends from the West Los Angeles Children's Choir are now busy recording nursery rhymes for Baby Ha Ha interactive pre school videos. Click here to see and hear the first one!
West Los Angeles Children's Choir shoots a video with THE RENTALS!!!!
The commercial was shot on location at the picturesque Ahmanson Ranch in Calabassas and will be part of a competition on MoveOn.org. The winning director will have his commercial aired on National T.V. later in the campaign.
The choir went on to get a standing ovation while singing Keep-a-Goin' (written by Bob and Barbara Silberg) in front of a live audience at a Hillary Clinton Live fundraiser at the Wilshire Theater in Beverly Hills.
Mrs. Clinton popped into the green room before the kids went on stage to wish them well and to pose with them for a picture.
The only problem some of the kids were having when these two extrordinary events were over was trying to make their friends at school believe them when they spoke of their fantastic experiences! Maybe when their friends take a closer look at the group photo they will be believed. Note the lady with the blond hair towards the back of the choir!

Leeza Gibbons Show
On Wednesday, December 13th, the West L.A. Children's Choir taped the Leeza Gibbons show, a nationally syndicated radio program, which broadcasts throughout the United States and Canada. The program played in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve between 7-11:00 PM. The kids sang six songs and were all interviewed on air. They even got to do voice-over promos which were heard throughout the four hour show.
